For the pravasi child, the temple festival is enjoyed, if at all, through a small clip of a few minutes in a news channel. Many of us, who have been fortunate enough to experience the festivities first hand, are not able to do the same for the youngsters in our family. Even social media streaming of such festivities is difficult to find.
We have taken the initiative to ensure that the festivals are LIVE streamed officially from the temple, where possible. Competitions, games and fun activities are only some of the things we are missing out on when we are disconnected from our hometowns. We have taken steps to be able to provide you the opportunity to be involved in these festivities from wherever you are currently staying. Special competitions with virtual streaming of registered participants will allow you to participate from your own town of residence. These competitions will include Pookalam, Sloka Chanting, Arangettam of musical instruments, singing, dancing, etc.
